The Cavalla Historical Foundation is always looking for volunteers to restore and maintain both the USS Cavalla and the USS Stewart.

- Scrapping and painting
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Machinist
- Welders
- Carpenters
- Technicians to repair and restore equipment such as radios, Torpedo Data Computer, and other vintage equipment
